The simplisity of the direct drive motor and precision wound coils provide more efficient use of battery power. The precision coils are German-made and produce less heat than those made in Asia. Unlike mid-drive motors, NeoDrive motors do not have a series of internal gears to consume energy from friction. NeoDrives have the most efficient motor of any ebike motor. NeoDrive systems are so efficient, pedaling a NeoDrive system without the system turned on is nearly identical to pedaling a standard trike.

All NeoDrive motors and batteries contain Goretex transfer ports. These membranes allow the motors and batteries to breath without pulling in water and contaniments. This results in longer wheel bearing life because water and grit will not be pulled into the motor through the wheel bearings while cooling. This design also allows the motor to stay cooler resulting in higher battery efficiency and greater range.

All NeoDriveService conversion kits are cutom built to your need. Wheels are built using Velocity rims, (made in Michigan). Wheels can be laced to 20", 26", 27.5"/660b, and 29"/700c rim sizes. The Velocity Cliffhanger is the standard rim, however, other rim options are available upon request. Spoke tensions are kept to +/-5% and tolerances are +/-0.1mm lateral & +/-0.2mm radial resulting in durable wheels that stay true.
